Sales Enablement and Proposal Manager

Remote
Full Time
Mid Level

Role Overview

The Sales Enablement and Proposal Manager is the central support and execution partner for RavenVolt’s sales organization. The role helps sales representatives and sales leaders move opportunities forward by coordinating proposals, RFP and RFI responses, prequalification materials, technical and commercial inputs, Deal Desk engagement, meetings, events, training, and selected special projects.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for a highly organized and responsive professional who can take an assignment from request through completion. The position supports the seller and sales leader; it does not replace the salesperson as customer owner or require the employee to serve as an engineer, attorney, or formal sales-operations analyst.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $124,000.00

The pay listed is the salary range for this position.  A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Proposal and Pursuit Support

• Support approximately 80% of the sales team’s proposal and pursuit activity, including lighter proposals, RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, prequalification submissions, and related customer deliverables.
• Gather, organize, and package accurate information from Sales, Engineering, Estimating, Operations, Marketing, and other subject-matter experts.
• Prepare and coordinate proposal content, qualifications packages, project descriptions, personnel credentials, certifications, and supporting materials.
• Maintain current, accurate, and accessible business-development resources for the sales team.
• Coordinate with Deal Desk when a pursuit requires a larger, highly polished, or otherwise centralized proposal effort; serve as the sales team’s interface with Deal Desk.
• Track deadlines, identify missing inputs, communicate open items, and help move deliverables to completion.

Sales Enablement and Cross Functional Coordination

• Serve as a practical go-between for Sales and the functions that support pursuits, including Deal Desk, Marketing, Engineering, Estimating, Operations, and Strategy.
• Help sales leaders and representatives locate the right information, connect with the right resource, and resolve routine obstacles.
• Coordinate approved sales collateral, presentations, capability statements, customer-facing materials, and business-development resources with Marketing.
• Provide technical and operational support by organizing information accurately; technical fluency is expected, but independent engineering design or technical solution ownership is not.
• Support sales meetings, agendas, presentation materials, action items, and internal communication forums.

Team Coordination and Special Projects

• Coordinate sales-team meetings, events, conferences, and related logistics, including rooms, schedules, food, communications, and follow-up.
• Support training coordination for technologies, systems, tools, and processes relevant to the sales organization.
• Serve as an onboarding buddy and practical resource for new team members, directing questions to the appropriate ABM or RavenVolt support function when needed.
• Take ownership of selected projects assigned by sales leadership, such as training plans, conference research, team initiatives, or process improvements.
• Maintain visibility into assignments and competing priorities; raise conflicts promptly and confirm priority rather than allowing work to stall.

What Success Looks Like

• Sales representatives receive the information, coordination, and proposal support they need without repeatedly chasing multiple functions.
• Lighter proposals and pursuit deliverables are accurate, organized, and completed on time, with larger efforts routed to Deal Desk appropriately.
• Requests assigned by sales leadership are captured, progressed, and brought to a clear completion point.
• Ian, Chris, Cody, and the sales teams experience a dependable partner who is responsive, concise, proactive, and willing to handle the work required to move the team forward.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting sales, proposals, business development, project coordination, sales enablement, or a comparable cross-functional function.
• Demonstrated ability to organize inputs from multiple stakeholders and carry work through to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, answer directly, and tailor communication to the audience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
• Comfort working with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity tools; experience with CRM, proposal, document-management, or collaboration platforms is helpful.
• Ability to work independently in a growing, evolving organization and to ask for clarification when priorities or ownership are unclear.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, distributed energy, energy storage, EPC, construction, industrial services, or another technical project environment.
• Experience coordinating RFP, RFI, RFQ, prequalification, proposal, or customer qualification processes.
• Experience working with Deal Desk, technical teams, estimators, Marketing, or Operations in support of customer pursuits.
• Experience coordinating events, training, onboarding, or internal team initiatives.

Working Style

The successful candidate is a resourceful utility player and practical doer. They are organized, highly responsive, concise, comfortable moving across functions, and willing to handle the details that help the sales team succeed. They take ownership without requiring repeated follow-up, communicate early when priorities conflict, and do not limit themselves to a narrow silo of responsibilities.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
